This week in pandemic picks: Visit the Downtown Berkeley Association (DBA) for the latest COVID-related business & service updates and for quarantine entertainment ideas. Support Double Helping Hands, a program that provides to-go meals to Berkeley’s homeless community. It’s sponsored by The Dorothy Day House Berkeley Community Resource Center and DBA, which has partnered with local restaurants Cornerstone Berkeley, Jazz Caffè and ACT Catering, La Note, and Revival to feed people in need. Donate to or volunteer for East Bay FeedER’s efforts to feed frontline hospital workers. Participating downtown Berkeley restaurants include La Note and Revival.

Partner recipes to add to your repertoire: Get the scoop on Comal’s guacamole., courtesy of chef Matt Gandin. Make Gather’s quintessential kale salad. Try this refreshing rhubarb grapefruit soda from the Revival bar crew.

Sign up for our COVID-19 Quarantine Cocktail Classes, in partnership with top mixologist Dolly Valdez Bautista of Hawker Fare in San Francisco. Cheers!
